RTI - Response to Intervention

Response to Intervention - RTI

Response to Intervention is an assessment and intervention with a multi-level prevention system designed to maximize student achievement.  Schools use data to identify students at risk for poor learning outcomes, monitor student's progress, provide evidence-based interventions and adjust the intensity and nature of those interventions depending on a student's responsiveness, and identify students with learning deficiencies or other deficiencies. (National Center on Response to Intervention, March 2010.
